Two questions to consider when choosing a wedding video package;
1) Will we be showing alot of people our DVD or will we just be watching it ourselves?
If you want to save some money, and only want the footage for personal viewing, get the unedited footage. You will get
all the tapes at the end of the night, and if you have a mini-dv camcorder, you can watch your wedding in the honeymoon suite
that night!
The raw footage can be edited later, at an extra cost, putting all the best parts on a DVD. Or putting all the footage
on a DVD (this would be much lower in cost- $20 per tape) then you could watch the footage anywhere there is a DVD player.
If you want to show friends, co-workers and relatives the wedding, all our edited packages come with a short highlights
section, guaranteed not to bore anyone.
The "Silver" package uses video still frames over music, to make a slideshow type highlights beginning on the
DVD.
The "Gold" package has a nicely edited motion video with effects, over your first dance music, this highlights
section is put on the beginning and end of your DVD's.
The "Platinum" package has an esquisitely produced highlights section with music, video, and talking sections
edited into a showpiece. The "Platinum" package allows the Bride or Groom to be in on editing process and approve
every scene, effect and sound bite used.
The "Highlights" have proven to be very popular, showing the beauty of your wedding in just a few minutes.
2) "How would we feel if the wedding video got ruined?" Or "How important is our wedding video to us?"
The more cameras used the more security you will have in case a camera has a catastrophic failure during the day.
Electronic components can fail at any time, so multicamera packages may be worth the extra money to be sure you have a video
to share for generations to come.
The added bonus is multiple cameras can get many more angles and shots, when expertly edited and blended together makes
the video much more interesting for you and your family/friends to watch.
The different prices reflect the amount of time and equipment used to produce your event. The higher the price of the
package the more time is spent on it.
The Best "Platinum Package" has the best of everything. It gives you the security of multiple video and audio
recordings happening simultaneously, you get a "Showpiece" highlight video, with lots of romantic techniques, a
fully edited long version, and to make sure you like every minute and every scene the Bride or Groom gets to approve the final
edit! (Cutting out any scenes they don't like) Top this off with all the raw footage on separate DVD's, and 10 finished DVD's
so you will have plenty to give away and keep a few for yourself and maybe put one in a safety deposit box.
The unedited packages reflect a basic documentary style that keep the memories alive, with a price that is easy on the
wallet.
I have been shooting video since 1981, have won several national awards for wedding video productions and have spoken
at numerous video seminars and conferences on wedding techniques. Over the years I have acquired the very best equipment for
shooting and editing wedding videos (over 60 different cameras and 15 editing computers)! I may not be the best, but I haven't
seen anyone better! After shooting hundreds of weddings over the last 20 years, alot of Brides/Grooms will agree I was the
hardest working wedding professional, before, during, and after their wedding day, and guarantee to do the same for you.
